Rodion Sulyandziga. Indigenous peoples’ communities of Russia are working on ratifying the Paris Agreement

The indigenous peoples’ communities of Russia are working to increase their partnerships with the National Government and emphasize the importance of ratifying the Paris Agreement and joining efforts with indigenous peoples’ communities globally to achieve the critical goal of 1.5 degrees.

Awareness and education are key to increase engagement and involvement in the decision-making process, particularly from young people. Mr. Sulyandziga highlights the relevance of strengthening the link between levels but also between generations.
